Russia will choose their Eurovision 2021 consultant tomorrow, March eighth. While the nationwide closing line-up has not been revealed but, 1tv.ru said for some minutes that Little Big will indeed take part in the selection. Later the wording of the stated article was modified.
Who are Little Big?
Little Big was present in St Petersburg, Russia and is made up of 4 members, Ilya Prusikin, Sonya Tayurskaya, Anton Lissov and Sergey Makarov. Their first full-length album, With Russia from Love, was launched in 2014. Since then, the group has launched three albums and three EPs. In 2018, their single “Skibidi” went viral and has achieved over 500 million views on YouTube.
The crew calls itself a satirical artwork collaboration, which depends on the music, visuals, and the present. Little Big mocks varied nationwide stereotypes about Russia. In 2020, they were set to represent Russia on the Eurovision Song Contest with “Uno”. While the competition was cancelled, “Uno” turned an enormous viral hit and is currently the most-viewed song on Eurovision’s YouTube channel.
