The Advanced level account for registered My HealtheVet users will no longer be offered as of Sept. 1, 2021. Advanced account holders must upgrade to Premium accounts and those who fail to upgrade will be reverted to Basic accounts and will be unable to access features including requesting and tracking VA prescription refills online or viewing medication history from their VA electronic health record.
Advanced account holders who are reverted to Basic level will not have to re-register for an account and can still upgrade their account to Premium anytime after Sept. 1.
My HealtheVet Premium accounts will provide users with more tools to manage their health care. Users will be able to access VA health records, VA Health Chat, make appointments, refill prescriptions, and send secure message to communicate with your health care team and VA staff.
